Life at RSA Edinburgh
The Branch meets regularly for lunch throughout the year at a venue either in the City of Edinburgh or at a location where there is good access by public transport. In addition, there are occasional outings to places of interest, again where access can be made by public transport.
RSA members regardless of Branch, may attend any of our ‘self-supporting‘ events which are publicised on this website (below) or in Contrail. (Note: many of the function venues do require advance reservations, your expression of interest in attending should therefore be made in advance, via the Branch official arranging the event)
The ’events‘ e-mailing is sent to Edinburgh Branch* members who have provided the RSA with an email contact and to other members on application. (* Edinburgh Branch now includes members formally listed under H&I).

🌟 The next Edinburgh Branch lunch outing will be held on Wednesday, 01 July 2026, at the Chinese Manor House, .2 Glasgow Road, Edinburgh EH12 8HL (Corstorphine) The start time is 12:15.
Please note the slightly earlier start time.
This is a new venue for the Branch, however it does appear to have good reviews. It was suggested as a suitable venue by a Member attending another recent lunch. The Chinese Manor House offer a 2 course Business Lunch menu starting at £15.00. A discretionary service charge of 10% will be added to our final bill.
(If possible, bring cash on the day, as it is likely that only one bill will be presented to our group at the end of the meal)

N.B. ** Either the pre-festive, November lunch, or the New Year Lunch, late January, will be the Branch annual special subsidised lunch. Soundings from Members will be taken at lunches in July & September. Expect a further email update later!
