Ron McNab

My first aviation experience was in the sixties when my uncle took

me and my dad for a flight in an Auster from Elmdon(Birmingham)

I joined the Royal Navy(Fleet Air Arm} in 1970 and left after

18months due air/sea sickness.

In 1972 I attended the College of ATC in Bournemouth(26 course)

and trained at Edinburgh/Manchester/Prestwick/Shetland and was

posted to Edinburgh in 1975.

I served on the Prospect BEC for many years as Edinburgh and

Northern Section Rep.

I retired in 2021 after 49years service.
